Wiring & Cabling FAQs

Common questions about new wiring, rewiring and cable installation.
Can you install new electrical wiring in my home?
Yes. We can install new wiring for outlets, lighting points, appliances and other fixed electrical installations. The exact solution depends on the existing system and the available cable route.
Can you replace old or damaged electrical wiring?
Yes. We can inspect older wiring and replace damaged or outdated cables where needed. If a larger rewiring job is required, we explain the scope before starting.
Do you need to open the walls to run new cables?
Not always. Existing conduits or accessible cable routes can sometimes be used. If concealed wiring requires drilling or opening walls, we will explain this before the work begins. Wall repair and painting are normally separate.
How much does wiring and cabling cost?
The price depends on cable length, accessibility, whether the installation is concealed or surface-mounted, and whether a new circuit or additional protection is required. Photos or drawings help us give a more accurate estimate.
Can I use ROT deduction for wiring work?
Eligible electrical installation work in an owned home may qualify for ROT. ROT applies to eligible labour cost, while materials and other costs are excluded. Skatteverket specifically includes certain electrical wiring work among ROT-eligible services.
