Ventilation Electrical FAQs

Common questions about fan connections, power supply and ventilation electrical work.
Can you connect a new bathroom or extractor fan?
Yes. We can electrically connect suitable bathroom, extractor and ventilation fans to an existing electrical installation. In Sweden, fixed connection of ventilation systems is electrical installation work and must be carried out by a company registered for the relevant work.
Can you replace my existing ventilation fan?
Yes. If the existing fan is being replaced with a compatible model, we can disconnect the old unit, connect the new one and test the electrical function. If the wiring or control setup needs modification, we will confirm that before starting.
Can you install a fan with timer or humidity control?
Yes, provided the selected fan and existing wiring are compatible. Timer- and humidity-controlled fans may require additional conductors, permanent live supply or other control wiring depending on the model.
Do I need a new electrical supply for my ventilation unit?
Not always. Many ventilation products can be connected to a suitable existing circuit. If a new circuit or cable from the electrical panel is required, that is a larger electrical installation and should be assessed separately before work begins.
